Heart Evangelista shares how she fight against anxiety through her paintings

Heart Evangelista shared how she is fighting against anxiety.

Amid the C0VID-19 outbreak, Queen of Creative Collaboration Heart Evangelista said that painting has helped her calm her anxiety.

In her Instagram post, Heart shared that she always turns her attention to painting.

“’Oh the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see.

“This saying has been my mantra ever since and it never fails to calm my anxieties and inspire me to keep creating,” she said.

For Heart, it was both love and sadness that rekindled her romance with painting.

Just like most artists, Heart saw painting as a way to deal with her own emotions, transforming her vision into a tangible reality.

In 2014, Heart decided to share her works by putting up her first painting exhibit at Art Space of the Ayala Museum. Surprisingly, all her paintings were sold out within the day.

Just like everyone else who holds on to her dreams, Love Marie did not stop chasing stars. Months later, she had another show at Galerie Joaquin in San Juan. And in 2015, she became the first Filipina to put up a solo art exhibit at Chan Hampe Galleries in Singapore.

In a separate post, Heart expressed how much she misses her husband, Governor Chiz Escudero, who’s currently in Sorsogon helping his constituents in fighting the coronavirus.

“Missing my husband so much. Can’t wait for you to come home,” she wrote.

Anxious about these uncertain times while being home alone, Heart also posted a picture where she wore a huge hoodie gifted to her by her husband.

Heart explained she’s been wearing her husband’s gift as a “security blanket” given that he’s away in the province seeing to the needs of Sorsogueños at these trying times.

Do you also felt anxious while you’re alone?
