Actress Heart Evangelista has cleared speculations that she is expecting.
In a tweet, the Kapuso actress and style icon denied pregnancy rumors that stemmed from photos posted on her Instagram where her husband Sorsogon governor Chiz Escudero could be seen touching her belly.
“I am not pregnant… fake news. Thank you for all your wishes but I am not,” she said on Twitter last May 23. “I’d like to set the record straight. It is a sensitive topic for me. Thank you.”
Heart Evangelista, over the weekend, said rumors she was pregnant were false.
It can be recalled that in 2018, Heart suffered a miscarriage of her twins with husband Chiz Escudero.
She revealed the heartbreaking event on Instagram.
She posted on Instagram, “I take comfort knowing that you’re up there with your twin… My Mira, funnily enough, I already loved your smile. I know you’ll find your way back to me.”
It’s unclear where the rumors started but at least one thing is clear: it’s not cool to assume people are pregnant, especially when it involves someone who’s had to deal with a recent loss.
Heart, who is married to Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero, was pregnant with twins in 2018 but lost both babies 3 months into her pregnancy.
Last 2013, the love story of Chiz Escudero and Heart Evangelista became controversial when the actress’s parents expressed their disapproval of Chiz who already had two children from a past marriage.
However, they fought for their love and got married in 2015.
Apparently, Heart has been busy helping netizens with immediate needs who have had difficulties handling the enhanced community quarantine.
She posted some photos beside tons of alcohol that she’ll be donating in Sorsogon.
She’s also busy taking care of her adopted dogs.
