Regine Velasquez still seems to have a hard time accepting the fate of her home network ABS-CBN.
Asia’s Songbird is among the celebrities who strongly expressed support for ABS-CBN Network.
Previously, Regine Velasquez couldn’t help but express her deep sentiments over the untimely closure of ABS-CBN.
She took to Instagram to vent out her disdain and anger over the incident.
The singer’s post was not merely an expression of her own feelings, but it was a litany of questions directed towards an unnamed person whom she said was laughing over their sorrow.
She also asked whether the person still knew how to at least sympathize.
She said that the person has forgotten to become human, and said that the person was already hopeless.
“Naaawa ako sayo dahil pinili mong manatili sa mondo mong maliit pinili mong mag pakain sa sistema.”
In a now-deleted tweet, Regine admitted that as days go by, she is worried about her work and all those who are working for the Kapamilya network.
“Habang tumatagal, aaminin ko napanghihinaan na ako ng loob. Hindi ko alam kung may trabaho pa kaming lahat,” she said.
Asia’s Songbird also mentioned that she is sad that some people are celebrating the closure of ABS-CBN instead of defending the rights of the people.
“Ang nakakalungkot parang ikinatuwa pa ng mga taong dapat ay nagtatangol sa ating karapatan. Bakit ganito??? Sana panaginip lang lahat ng ito,” she wrote.
In October 2018 when Regine officially moved to the Kapamilya network after a two-decade stay on GMA-7.
Regine is a mainstay in the Sunday musical-variety show ASAP Natin ‘To.
Regine’s husband Ogie Alcasid has also been in the yard of ABS-CBN since 2016.
