“ASAP Natin ‘To” is set to air in TV5 Network starting January 24

Many were shock by Brighlight Productions’ decision to cancel the airing of Sunday Noontime Live.

But surely more people will surprise by the program that TV5 will replace in the timeslot of the noontime musical-variety show by Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, and Catriona Gray who said goodbye last January 17.

If there is no change in the plan, ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin ‘To will air on TV5 starting this coming Sunday, January 24.

In an official statement released to the entertainment media last 16 January, Brightlight Productions CEO Albee Benitez said they are pulling the plug on the show.

“Sunday Noontime Live (SNL)’s delightful run is about to end and we await future endeavours from its outstanding stars and phenomenal newcomers,” said Benitez.

However, “ASAP Natin ‘To” will still air on the A2Z channel.

Along with SNL, other Brightlight Productions programs “I Got You” and “Sunday Kada” also bid goodbye on television last 17 January.

Meanwhile, other Kapatid programs such as “Lunch Out Loud” top-billed by Billy Crawford, “Rated Korina” of veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez, and “Oh My Dad” led by Ian Veneracion will continue to air.

At an age where entertainment comes from various multimedia outlets, ASAP Natin ‘To held its ground to be one, if not the best, longest-running Sunday noontime program in the country.

Still, as time changes, there are talented celebrities who are proving to everyone that they are timeless. Philippine entertainment icons such as Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Gary V, Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo, Moira De la Torre, Darren Espanto, Kim Chiu, and more from ASAP Natin ‘to proved to be high-caliber performers, leaving their viewers with some jaw-dropping performances.
